It's interesting how many similarities there are between Korea and America, but how incredibly different they are at the same time, wouldn't you agree?
I hope you enjoy Hawaii as much as I enjoy Bundang:) Aloha!Jamie Lighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04637306241396474657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6382853690065556130.post-68842860378465984102011-04-12T17:19:00.425+09:002011-04-12T17:19:00.425+09:00I loved your cartoon. The teacher's facial expression is great!

Sorry, though, but after living in the States for the past four years, I have to sort of side with your kids. In Korea when you want something reasonably affordable, you have a choice between fast food and loads of reasonably healthy Korean, Japanese, etc., food options. By contrast, in the US (or at least in Hawaii) you really just have the fast food.

In Korea, fast food has made inroads but it is just one of several options, but in the US, fast food dominates.

Oh, and it's 학원, not 학완. Admittedly, they do sound very similar. And it's 커피, not 코피 (which sounds like nosebleed), and that also sounds very similar. Apologies if these were intentional ('cuz they could be).kushibohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10306033998028548550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6382853690065556130.post-4883720157937737332011-02-06T11:54:03.502+09:002011-02-06T11:54:03.502+09:00Ellen...I'm guessing you're actually Steve...Ellen...I'm guessing you're actually Steven?

Libby-thank you!
